I LOVE this upcoming Funny Festival that The Ark (Temple Bar, Dublin) are hosting in July and August, and (vagina-willing), I plan to be there for one or two events at the very least.
The Funny Festival will include the following:
– Stand-up comedy for families
– Stand-up comedy workshops
– Comedy animation workshops
– Comedy writing workshops
– A nonsense poetry event
– Slapstick workshops
– Comedy drawing worshops

There is nothing better than having a good giggle with your family, and I can personally vouch for several of the acts on the line-up: Totally Wired, Joe Rooney, Reuben – I don’t know HOW Al Porter is going to keep it clean, but I’d be willing to pay money to see him try!
